Okay, let’s get the situation straight here! tiernan is now a brand new three piece (as opposed to a threeSOME). Leon McCormick of acclaimed Tokyo punk band Dstolemybear is now on bass and backing vocals, and we have a mysterious new female drummer who calls herself Gispappe. We call her that too. Industry insiders are already comparing her to Dave Grohl!

Independant English film maker Kyna Boulton-Harris is shooting a video for Epiphany (due out this fall) and French film maker Jerome Danvy is directing a video for The End of the World. Shooting for the latter will take place in September, in and around Tokyo. Promoters in Vancouver and London are still booking us tour dates for the winter and yes, the first album will be out before the end of this year.

Did I mention that Metropolis (in Tokyo) and L’Express (in Toronto) are both going to do articles on us in the coming weeks? OmiG-D! ; - )

Also, yes, we WILL have a new photo shoot done before the end of the month, because obviously we are not South Park characters. (We’re much cooler.)

Stay tuned, true believers. The coming months are going to be full like your tummy at a Hare Krishna feast!

tiernan (full band), at the Baron in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan! Admission is 1000 yen and includes one free drink ticket. The location is a soundproof show space in a posh French restaurant, and this is our homecoming show at the Baron! (They discontinued live music a 10 months ago!)

Show runs from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m.

27/09/08 Saturday.

tiernan (full band), DJ Rosuke and DJ Noble live at the Barge Inn in Narita, Chiba, Japan! Admission price is TBA. The location is wonderful historical building with 300 capacity, and this is our first band show in Chiba!

Music runs from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

07/08/08 Thursday.

Laurier Tiernan (solo acoustic show), live at What the Dickens in Ebisu, Tokyo, Japan! Admission is FREE, the location is gorgeous 2 floor old English pub with 300 capacity, great sound and do I have to repeat that admission is FREE?!

Music runs from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

26/07/08 Saturday.

tiernan (full band), live at the Black Sheep in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan! Admission is FREE, and the location is an intimate basement-style English pub! This will no doubt be one of the LAST free tiernan shows, so come out and MOSH, you motherfucking WEAK ASS MOMMA’S BOYS!

Music runs from 9:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
